Dr. Lyn Neylon is a professor of English language and literature as well as Humanities at Cuyamaca College. She has a B.A. in psychology and a B.A. in English from SDSU, an MA in Teaching English from USIU, and a Ph.D. in comparative literature from UC-Riverside. And because she is addicted to education, she is currently finishing a Masters in Humanities at CSU Dominguez Hills.

Thoroughly overeducated, but loving that part of her life, Lyn finds her greatest inspiration comes from her family, friends and students. She has a talent for languages which comes in handy because she adores travel and has had the good fortune to live and teach in France, Italy and Spain as well as taking classes in London and touring Europe, Egypt, Japan and Mexico.

Lyn does her best to live her life without regret [not an easy task], and lives by the philosophy that while change is inevitable, we can choose to be the arbiters of change rather than the victims of it. Life is what we make it, and only those awake and participating are really living.
