I am a native San Diegan...grew up in Pacific Beach and now live in South Park- I teach political science and film.  I am the faculty advisor for a campus organization at City College called BEAT (Bringing Education and Activism Together).  I love to travel, go to concerts, play open mics when I can, watch foreign film and Barcelona futbol.  My heroes are: Malcolm X, Bell Hooks, Noam Chomsky, Naomi Klein, Abbie Hoffman, Amy Goodman, Jeff Buckley, John Lennon, Pep Guardiola and of course my mom:)
